The Black Knight Rises

A good friend of ours got a deal on a Black Knight. Of course, it needed a bit of work. We had to put the cabinet back together, first of all:

Someone told us this looked like a barbecue pit.

Dusty figured he’d have to replace the backglass, so we tried our best to make his old one a little better.

You’ll notice a slight flaking.

Let’s just chip away a little bit here and there.
BlackKnight4
Did we just lose a bat?
BlackKnight5
Well, let’s just scrape it all off. A solid background is going to look better than filling in the blanks.

Seal it, then spray it orange. Remember to wear your spray mask, kids.

Here’s the orange looking red-hot, but now those spots on the red and blue really stand out…

Our artist in residence took a slight hand to the other colors.

This backglass rides again.

Here’s a final shot of the rehabbed game:

Good call, Dusty, you saw the diamond in the rough.
