Lord of the Rings Looks Great!

Shop Notes

We just finished a full shop job on this Lord of the Rings pinball machine. We also put on a few custom touches on this pin. This machine looks great now. Check it out!

LOTR1

Stern came out with this game in 2003, and produced around 5,100 units. (IPDB)

LOTR2

We gave this machine a full shop job, tearing everything off the playfield to be tumbled, buffed, washed, polished, or otherwise cleaned.

LOTR3

We decided to powdercoat this one, too, using a great bronze color with gold metal flake for the rails, legs, lockdown bar, and hinges.

LOTR4

We also used brass feet and leg bolts, to give everything a cohesive look.

LOTR5

The game came out the same year as the third installment of Peter Jackson’s trilogy, based, of course, on the classic J.R.R. Tolkien works.

LOTR6

We also installed full LEDs in this game: insert, GI, and flashers.

LOTR7

Bash the Balrog! Enjoy your beautiful game, Mike!
