About Firebird Pinball

Driven by a love of pinball and an urge to create something of our own, we started Firebird Pinball in 2010. Our shop was just a small back room in our house in Tucson, and we kept our day jobs. But we soon realized just how many other people shared our passion. We moved to Phoenix in September 2011 to go full-time.

We’re thankful for all our great customers and friends and we hope you know that when you work with Firebird Pinball, you’re still working with a locally owned, family business.

 

Who We Are:

Kris grew up in Chicago and moved to Tucson during high school. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 2004 with a degree in mechanical engineering. He worked for a solar company before pinball came calling.

Leslie grew up in Phoenix and the White Mountains. She graduated from the University of Arizona in 1999 with a double major in journalism and women’s studies. She was a reporter, editor and teacher in her pre-pinball life.

M1  was playing pinball before he could talk. He helps around the shop when school allows, and most enjoys tearing down playfields.

M2’s  second word was ‘ball.’ He manages to get into the shop daily and most enjoys play-testing every machine, and working with Dad and Mom.
