Fireball Classic is Totally Hot!

Shop Notes

This Fireball Classic pinball machine is going home today! We gave this game a full shop job, then lent it to StarFighters Arcade for a while. But now it’s going home to a lucky guy. Enjoy the game, Robert!

Fireball1

Bally came out with this game in 1984, and produced around 2,000 units. (IPDB)

Fireball2

It was the last in a series of four games based on the same theme, and nearly identical to the original Fireball from 1972, minus the zipper flippers.

Fireball3

Bally also produced Fireball 2 and a home-model version, also called Fireball.

Fireball4

With such great artwork and a fun layout, you can see why they kept making the game over!

Fireball5

We installed full LEDs in this game: insert, GI, and flashers.

Fireball6

We gave it a full shop job, too, tearing everything off the playfield to be polished, tumbled, buffed, washed, or otherwise cleaned.

Fireball7

All the mechanics were tested. This game works 100%.

Fireball8

Here’s a close-up of one of the best features of this game: the spinning disc in the center that throws your balls way off-course.

Fireball9

Thanks for all the good times, Fireball.
