Fireball Classic is Totally Hot! Posted on October 19, 2016January 8, 2024 by Kris Bliznick This Fireball Classic pinball machine is going home today! We gave this game a full shop job, then lent it to StarFighters Arcade for a while. But now it’s going home to a lucky guy. Enjoy the game, Robert! Bally came out with this game in 1984, and produced around 2,000 units. (IPDB) It was the last in a series of four games based on the same theme, and nearly identical to the original Fireball from 1972, minus the zipper flippers. Bally also produced Fireball 2 and a home-model version, also called Fireball. With such great artwork and a fun layout, you can see why they kept making the game over! We installed full LEDs in this game: insert, GI, and flashers. We gave it a full shop job, too, tearing everything off the playfield to be polished, tumbled, buffed, washed, or otherwise cleaned. All the mechanics were tested. This game works 100%. Here’s a close-up of one of the best features of this game: the spinning disc in the center that throws your balls way off-course. Thanks for all the good times, Fireball.
