An Evel Restoration

Our restoration experts just finished up a full job on this awesome Evel Knievel pinball machine.
Check it out!

Bally came out with its tribute to the iconic stuntman in 1976, and produced some 14,000 of the games. (IPDB)
Our customer had come across this machine and wanted to bring it back to the tribute it should be to Knievel, famed for attempting more than 75 ramp-to-ramp motorcycle jumps in his storied career. (Wiki)
Our customer had done some preliminary sanding, and took the rails and legs off. Our restoration experts finished the cabinet work, taking everything down to the wood, then repainting and applying the stencils.
Our crew stripped the playfield, pulling everything off to be tumbled, buffed, polished, washed, or otherwise cleaned.
The playfield had suffered some serious wear through the years, so there were large areas of art that had to be touched up, and then the whole thing was clearcoated to a beautiful gloss.
Our crew fixed all the mechanics too. This game played great when we were finished with it!
Check out the Cointaker LEDs we added throughout the machine!
We included some special little touches, too, including Super Bands, and color-matched post sleeves.
Another nice touch! Aren’t they pretty?
Our customer sent us a final picture once he got the game home and put in his new backglass. It looks great! Enjoy your awesome game, Stephen!
