Game Restoration
We just finished restoring a 1978 Bally Playboy for our friend Joe in Tucson. It took a little longer than we wanted (thanks for your patience, Joe) but it turned out well. Let us know what you think!

Make sure you buy quality stencils when you spray a cabinet.

We got our paints at Dunn Edwards on West Bell. Very helpful place!

Did you know Bally made 18,250 machines like this?

Luckily, we were able to polish up the original coindoor.

Did you know that the start-up tune for the game, its Grotto tune, and its bonus score countdown tune resemble portions of the theme from the 1969 TV show “Playboy After Dark” ?

The backglass depicts Hugh Hefner with 1976 Playmate Patti McGuire and 1977 Playmate Sondra Theodore.

A 1979 invoice shows the machine cost around $1,700. (All facts courtesy Internet Pinball Machine Database.)
