Hardbody is Going Home Posted on October 17, 2016January 8, 2024 by Kris Bliznick We just finished a full shop job on this great pinball machine – a Bally Hardbody! This machine is the only machine endorsed by Rachel McLish, the first Ms. Olympia. Check it out! Bally came out with Hardbody in 1987, at the height of the fitness craze of the ’80s, and produced around 2,000 machines. (IPDB) We’ve given this one a full shop job, pulling everything off the playfield to be polished, washed, tumbled, buffed, or otherwise cleaned. The upper playfield is aglow with the LEDs we installed. This machine has LEDs for its inserts, GI, and flashers. Check out the ramps to the upper level! The game comes with these factory-installed mirror blades. As far as we know this was the first and only game to come with them. The cabinet is in great shape, with little to no fade. You can see Ms. McLish in the backglass. In addition to her body-building accolades, she garnered starring roles in such big-screen hits as Getting Physical, and Aces: Iron Eagle III. Enjoy your game, Jordan! But don’t work too hard.
