Classic KISS Playfield Swap

Game Restoration,Shop Notes

We just finished a playfield swap on this KISS pinball machine. Combined with the work that had been done earlier, this is now a great-looking machine! Check it out!

KISS1

Bally came out with this game in 1978, and produced 17,000 machines. (IPDB)

KISS2

When the owner purchased this game, the cabinet had been repainted, but the playfield was worn. He started the playfield swap, then asked us to finish it.

KISS3

We finished transferring everything to the new playfield, cleaned up a couple of issues on the cabinet, and put in a new board too.

KISS4

We installed LEDs in the game as well.

KISS5

Counting the 1978 solo albums, Kiss has been awarded 28 gold albums to date, the most of any American rock band. (Wiki)

KISS6

The band’s face paint, stage antics, elaborate live performances, and, of course, music, have inspired a legion of fans, the KISS Army.

KISS7

The owner of this game is definitely a huge fan, if you couldn’t tell.

KISS8

The best touch on this game? This Gene Simmons shooter rod the owner picked up a few years ago. It’s the perfect finishing touch for a big KISS fan!

Love the black flippers, they look great! Where’d you get those rule cards? They look like some custom ones I made a couple of years ago!

Kris, The game looks and plays great and I couldn’t be more pleased. Also the machine is twice as bright as my other game with the new led’s.
