Getaway Got Away!

We were happy to put the finishing touches on this Getaway pinball machine and send it on its way last week. This game is always fun, with its fast-paced theme and great music. Check it out!

Williams came out with Getaway in 1992, and produced more than 13,200 units. (IPDB)
The game is, of course, a revamped version of Williams’ 1986 High Speed. Faster and better-looking!
This is a quick-paced game with a great theme that appeals to pinball diehards and newcomers alike.
You can almost hear the pulse-quickening beats of “La Grange” if you stare at the translite long enough.
We gave the game a full shop job and installed Cointaker LEDs throughout.
We included a few special touches, too, including Super Bands and color-coded post sleeves.
The game looked great!
