It’s Finally Time to Party With Elvira!

We’re always more than happy to finish another long-term project, especially when it turns out as well as this Elvira and the Party Monsters! We had some help from the owner with this one, which made it go a lot faster. Check it out!

Bally came out with Elvira and the Party Monsters in 1989, and produced around 4,000 units, IPDB reports.
EATPM2
The game came out one year after Cassandra Peterson made her big-screen debut as her most famous character, in Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. Peterson had been playing Elvira since the early ’80s on an L.A. TV station.
EATPM3
This is a really fun machine, with lots of great touches. So of course its owner, Karl, wanted to get his game back to peak form.
EATPM4
So Karl asked us to tackle the playfield while he worked on the cabinet, sanding it down and putting on new decals.
EATPM5
We tore everything off the playfield, then did some extensive touchups, and then clearcoated it too.
EATPM7
We installed full LEDs, too, and some nice custom touches, like the bony flippers, Super Bands, and more.
EATPM8
Then Karl brought back the cabinet (did we mention what a great job he did?!), and we put everything back together.
EATPM6
Enjoy the game, Karl. You deserve it after all your hard work!
