One Pin to Rule Them All Posted on February 6, 2015January 8, 2024 by Kris Bliznick We just finished a full shop job on this Lord of the Rings pinball machine. This is a really fun game, with tons of modes and objectives. Check it out! Stern came out with Lord of the Rings in 2003, and produced 5,100 machines, according to the IPDB. We gave this one a full shop job, tearing everything off the playfield and polishing, tumbling, washing, buffing, or otherwise cleaning it all. We installed full LEDs, too: insert, GI, and flashers. The game came out the same year as the third installment of Peter Jackson’s trilogy, based, of course, on the classic J.R.R. Tolkien works. We put a few extra touches on this one. You can see the speaker panels in the background. We also installed a Tom Wibble shooter rod, the Army of the Dead figures, and gold flipper bats. There’s also the powder-coated rails, legs, lockdown bar, rails, and hinges. Enjoy the game, Scott!
