Tales from the Crypt Turns out Scary Good

Check out this awesome Tales from the Crypt pinball machine! We just finished a full shop job on this game, and we added some special touches too.
Sorry it didn’t last longer, y’all, but this game is SOLD!

Data East came out with Tales from the Crypt in 1993, and produced around 4,500 machines. (IPDB)
Of course, it was modeled after the much-loved TV show, which ran from 1989 to 1996.
We gave this one a full shop job, pulling everything off the playfield to be polished, washed, buffed, tumbled, or otherwise cleaned. We added the art blades, rebuilt the flippers, changed all the rings, and made sure everything plays 100%.
This game is in great shape and features lots of extras, including this topper, which pays homage to the original Tales From the Crypt. EC Comics published those in the ’50s.
The translite features the host with the most: The Crypt Keeper, seen here with a whole lot of celebrities who guest-starred on the show. How many can you spot? Start with Whoopi Goldberg on the middle right.
This game has special touches throughout, including the fingers over the flippers you can see here.
We installed Cointaker LEDs throughout this game. Check out that beautiful glow!
The previous owner also added this guy. You might recognize him as one of Michonne’s walkers from The Walking Dead. He seems right at home, doesn’t he?
Enjoy your new game, K & O!
